Artist Statement: Inspired by the ocean and the feeling of looking out into a vast seascape, where everything suddenly feels a little more hopeful. One of my favorite things about the ocean is the way there is never just one shade of blue. The water shifts constantly, catching the light and revealing so many different tones and glimmers.
Being close to the ocean again has brought me a sense of peace that feels deeply familiar, like I’m returning to a part of myself I’ve missed. I wanted this painting to capture that feeling through layers of blue, movement, and light as a tribute to my new home by the ocean.

SHIPPING POLICY
- Shipping Method: Smaller pieces are boxed and shipped by ground carrier, and larger pieces travel by freight or white glove delivery.
- Rates: Estimated rates appear at checkout, or choose Request a Delivery Quote and we'll price delivery to your address, usually within two business days.
- Shipping Areas: We ship throughout the U.S. Alaska, Hawaii and international deliveries are quoted individually. Local delivery and pickup are available in Birmingham.
- Timing: Once your order is placed, our team will be in touch to coordinate delivery.
- Tracking: When available, tracking details are emailed once your order ships.
RETURNS POLICY
- All Sales Final: All sales are final, though we understand a return or refund is sometimes necessary. Please reach out to hello@odettecollective.com or 205.324.7613, and we'll review each request on a case-by-case basis.
- Transit Damage: If a piece arrives damaged in transit, please let us know within 48 hours of delivery and include photographs.
