These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases from Odette Collective ("Odette," "we," "us," or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or purchasing from Odette, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Antique, Vintage & Handcrafted Pieces

Many pieces sold by Odette are antique, vintage or handcrafted and are not in new condition. By purchasing, you acknowledge that:

  • Patina, authentic aging and variation are inherent and intentional
  • Measurements are approximate
  • Color may vary due to lighting, photography and screen differences
  • No two pieces are identical

All items are sold as-is unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3. Pricing & Errors

We reserve the right to correct pricing, description or inventory errors at any time; to cancel or refuse orders placed with incorrect pricing; and to limit quantities or discontinue items. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.

4. Payment

Payment is required in full prior to shipment unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment through the methods offered at checkout.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping rates shown at checkout are estimates. Oversized, fragile or crated pieces may require an additional charge, and we will contact you before anything ships. You may also choose Request a Delivery Quote at checkout and we will price delivery to your address. Smaller pieces ship by parcel carrier; larger pieces ship by third-party freight carrier or white glove delivery. You agree that:

  • Delivery timelines are estimates only
  • You or an authorized person must be present at delivery
  • Clear access must be provided, including doorways, stairs and elevators
  • Additional fees may apply for redelivery, storage or special handling

Odette is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, port congestion or events beyond our control. See our Shipping Policy for details.

6. Inspection & Damage Claims

Please inspect every delivery at the time it arrives.

  • Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing
  • Notify Odette within 48 hours of delivery and include photographs
  • Damage not noted at delivery may void your claim

Odette will assist in filing claims with the carrier; liability is limited to the terms of the carrier.

7. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

All sales are final, though we understand a return or refund is sometimes necessary. Please reach out to hello@odettecollective.com or 205.324.7613, and we'll review each request on a case-by-case basis.

  • Orders may not be canceled once processing or shipping has begun
  • Custom, made-to-order and COM (Customer's Own Material) orders are non-cancelable and non-refundable

8. Customer's Own Material (COM)

For upholstery made with customer-provided material:

  • The customer is responsible for correct yardage and the suitability of the material
  • Odette is not responsible for defects in supplied material
  • Variations in dye lot, durability or performance are the customer's responsibility
  • COM orders are final sale and non-returnable

9. Trade Program

Trade accounts require a valid resale certificate. Odette reserves the right to approve or deny applications, revoke trade status at any time, and modify trade pricing or benefits without notice.

10. Storage & Unclaimed Items

If delivery or pickup cannot be completed, storage fees may apply after 30 days. Items not claimed within 90 days, with no communication from the buyer, may be considered abandoned.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Odette is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the item.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

All products are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

13. Intellectual Property

All website content, including images, branding and text, is owned by Odette Collective and may not be used without written consent.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
