Artist Statement: Inspired by my new home in Solana Beach. After recently moving here, I wanted to create a painting that felt like a tribute to the place I now get to call home. Vibrant, full of life, green, and happy.
One of my favorite things to do is take long walks around my neighborhood, where the streets are filled with the most beautiful flowers in shades of pink and orange. There’s something about being surrounded by so much color and nature that makes everyday life feel a little more like paradise. This painting is my little love letter to that feeling.
