Carlos uses a Baroque aesthetic with a sense of contemporary fashion to create portraits that blend historical references with a modern painterly approach.

Carlos’ style is heavily influenced by his Cuban upbringing in a Russian governed academia setting. This exposed Carlos to the world of figurative arts while censoring contemporary art.
