A pair of Louis XIII style armchairs from around 1880, raised on the sculptural os-de-mouton stretchers that give the form its name, with tall squared backs, gracefully scrolled arms and dark turned frames carrying a rich, time-earned patina. Odette had them newly upholstered in Fete Home by Jen Potter, a blue floral on a soft white ground that lifts the deep tone of the frames and gives the pair a fresh, garden-room charm. Generous in scale and handsome from every angle, they are made to flank a fireplace, frame a bay window, or sit on either side of a small table for long conversations.
